Includes advice for acute non-emergent illnesses like fever, cough, cold, sinus infections, sore throat, urinary problems, skin rash, headache, diahrrea, back pain, neck pain, joint pain, minor injuries, pink eye, ear pain or discharge, heartburn, insect bites, yeast infection etc.

We have doctors available to help you with your medical problem. You may also request a consultation if you have a medical question and just need information. Based on the doctor’s assessment, you may be directed to seek in-person care in a clinic or hospital as all problems cannot be taken care of on the phone or Internet. You are strongly recommended to follow their advice.

Life threatening emergencies are not treated via this service. Symptoms and suspected conditions like chest pain, heart attack, stroke, severe injuries, vomiting blood, rectal bleeding, shortness of breath, blindness, etc are best treated with a visit to a hospital or clinic.

If you have a chronic disease or are on long term medications then this is the appropriate service for you. Conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart failure, coronary artery disease, asthma, emphysema, lupus, arthritis, ulcers, colon disease, etc. may not need a visit to the doctor at times and a virtual consultation on the phone or internet may be enough.

Many problems in a chronic disorder can be managed on the phone or Internet like blood sugar control, blood pressure control, etc. with a strong component of self management.
