Jeevika

Panmedical joined the Jeevika initiative in Bihar to bring digital healthcare awareness sessions to rural women's self-help groups. The Jeevika network reaches communities where the nearest well-equipped clinic is often a day's travel away, and telemedicine can genuinely close a hard-to-close gap.

Our sessions walked women through the basics: what an online consultation is, when it makes sense (and when a physical visit is still the right call), and how to book a doctor when the closest one is far. A small team of counsellors handled one-on-one questions afterward, since the group format only takes people so far.

Sessions like this remind us who the platform is actually being built for. The user is not the person with the fastest phone: it is the person with the hardest access.
