In Tonko Village, Jharkhand, about 60 vulnerable women and girls received free sanitary napkins for two months. These women cannot afford menstrual hygiene products and remain at high risk for infections and complications from using random pieces of clothing. For the last year or so they have been using pads from our bank with a remarkable reduction in these infections.
